  • 2 cups steel-cut oat (200 g)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup maple syrup (55 g)
  • 4 apples, peeled, cored, cut into ½-inch (1-cm) pieces
  • 3 cups water (710 mL)
  • 3 cups milk (710 mL), or milk alternative
  • chopped nut, to serve

Preparation
